Luke 2:8–14

When an angel told shepherds about the birth of a Savior, they were first scared. This helps us see how people often try to act like they are God, which can make them very nervous. This sermon talks about how understanding God’s love and the good news about Jesus can help us not be so scared. We can see this in the lives of famous writers like J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis. The important thing about Christmas is that Jesus came as a real person – the perfect became real. Believing in Him and following His ways can lead us to true happiness and peace.
