Getting to know God is key to understanding Christianity, our way of life, and moral choices. God’s qualities, like His ability to be known as shown in Jeremiah 31:31-34, is the basis of this understanding. The chance to know God, which He wants and has created through a fresh agreement, is highly important and we’ll look into it more.
1. Why is knowing God important?
God’s new agreement, represented by Jesus Christ, lets every believer get to know Him, a special opportunity for Christians. Knowing God, helped by the Holy Spirit, is not about being proud but is the core of Christianity. It’s what our souls are really longing for and meant to achieve.
2. What is the nature of knowing God?
Having a personal bond with God, marked by a shared truth and love, is very important. This bond involves actively hearing God through the Bible, seeking personal insight, and accepting His love wholeheartedly. It also requires thinking deeply, reflecting, and asking for forgiveness to fully feel His love, which makes our bond with God stronger and refreshes our experience of His presence.
