Overview

New City Catechism is a new learning tool for individuals, churches, and families, drawn from the historic Reformation catechisms and adapted for people today. It is available completely free as an app or through the website.

It comprises 52 questions and answers, or one question and answer for each week of the year, making it simple to fit into church calendars and achievable for people with demanding schedules.

NCC Q1: What is our only hope in life and death?

Attached to each question and answer is a short written commentary from a historic preacher (such as Augustine, Edwards, Spurgeon, or Wesley) and a short video commentary from some of the council members of The Gospel Coalition (including Don Carson, Mark Dever, Kevin DeYoung, and John Piper) as well as the pastors of Redeemer Presbyterian Church. It also has a children’s catechism to accompany the adult version.

New City Catechism is a joint project between Redeemer Presbyterian Church and The Gospel Coalition. Adapted by Timothy Keller and Sam Shammas of Redeemer Presbyterian Church.
