Overview

Many of you have heard the term kingdom of God, but can you put in a nutshell what it is?

All through the gospel of Luke and all through Jesus’ teaching, there’s the theme of the kingdom of God. What does it mean, then? The parable in Luke 16 tells us it means at least four things.

To live in the kingdom of God is 1) to get a lasting identity, 2) that goes on for eternity, 3) and is marked by astounding liberality, and so, 4) we have to ask, “How do we get that?”
