Overview
Isaiah 60 is a great backdrop for the Epiphany season, which reminds us of Jesus Christ’s manifestation in the world. In these verses we read about a time when nations will come to a transformed city of God and His redeemed people. The light will draw them and they will bring treasures and cultural products from afar. In fact, this is what we see partially fulfilled in the visit of the Magi, who bring gifts from afar. His is a kingdom of peace, righteousness, salvation and praise.
