Overview

The world is a dark place. We don’t look at it directly all the time. But then we have a terrible tragedy and right away we say, “We have to do something.”

Christmas is about God’s plan to do something—to deal with evil and suffering and death and to deal with it for good. Christmas is about dealing with the darkness.

In Luke 2, we’re going to learn about 1) the fact of Christmas and 2) the pattern of Christmas. When we look at both, I think we’ll have a better idea about what God’s plan is to deal with the darkness.
