John 2:1–11

When Jesus turned water into wine at a wedding in Cana, his first miracle, he showed his divine power and made his followers believe in him more. This story tells us that even if we’re successful in the world, life can be disappointing and empty without God. It also shows how important weddings and wine were in their culture. But the main point is that only by knowing Jesus Christ can we find true happiness and satisfaction.

Discover how reflecting on the gospel leads to renewal

In Shaped by the Gospel, Dr. Keller shows how gospel-centered ministry is more theologically driven than program-driven. As you read, you’ll discover how reflecting on the essence, the truths, and the patterns of the gospel leads to renewal in your lives, churches and ministries.
