READ Malachi 4:1–6
REFLECTION
How significant is it that one of the results of Christ’s coming will be to heal families, turning the hearts of parents to their children, and the children to their parents? Social decay and disorder starts in the breakdown of the family, and that’s where God begins his work of renewal.
PRAYER
Pray for your own family, the families in your churches, families who are suffering hunger and persecution through natural disaster or for their faith. Pray that God may begin mending families, and discuss as a family how you could be a part of that.
