The birth of John the Baptist is foretold to Zechariah.
REFLECT
The birth of John the Baptist reminds us of Abraham and Sarah (because of Zechariah and Elizabeth’s age) and also prepares us for the miracle of Jesus’ birth. The God who made all creation and rules over every cell, atom, particle and movement of his creation. Is anything too hard for our God?
PRAY
Pray for confidence that God is indeed sovereign over all his creation.
