Overview
Many Christians (let alone our friends and neighbors), are uncomfortable with and confused by the experience and explanation of the new birth. For Peter it was central to his understanding of his call; rooted in the doctrine of electing grace. What happens to each of us is a foretaste of what will happen to the cosmos once the resurrection power of God is fully brought to bear on the world at Christ’s return.
