1. If this is true, isn’t the church more than just a place to visit occasionally?

The church is not just a building, but a community where we form relationships that keep us accountable to each other. It’s where we confess our wrongs, encourage each other daily, and work to avoid falling into sin. The church challenges us to think beyond ourselves, encouraging us to commit to one another, speak the truth in love, and correct each other when necessary. Jesus sacrificed Himself to create a group of believers who are deeply connected, showing us how important it is to be committed to the church.

2. Your love for all the saints

Being a Christian is about more than just believing the right things and having faith in Jesus Christ; it’s also shown by our love for all followers of Christ, no matter who they are or where they come from. The gospel’s power to change lives can bridge social gaps, as seen in the example of David Martyn Lloyd-Jones, who fellowshipped with godly women from all walks of life. We should love each other deeply, selflessly, and without any prejudices, recognizing the preciousness of each person and the presence of Christ within them.
