Overview
According to the Bible, generosity is about way more than your money. But of course, it does also mean being generous with your money.
In Luke 18, we see one of the more famous places in the Bible where Jesus talks about money. This is in his interaction with one who’s called the rich young ruler.
In Jesus’ interaction with the rich young ruler, we see three things: 1) the danger of money, 2) why money is so dangerous, and 3) how we can escape that danger.
