Living in Wonder
By David Bisgrove
David Bisgrove | July 20, 2014
Love as the sum of all virtues; that the inner life is more important then all the achievements and successes. We all long for love; this passage is read at weddings all the time. The Bible in some ways affirms that longing for love but reminds us we have cheapened its definition and therefore missed out on the real benefit of biblical love.

In The Prodigal God, Tim Keller examines the way Jesus presents the parable to speak both to those who run from God and to those who try to earn his love by being good. It reveals the heart of the gospel—a message of hope for both the rebellious younger brother and the judgmental older brother, and an invitation for all to experience God’s grace.
