Seeing Him as He Is

1 John 3:1–3

Looking at 1 John 3:1-3, we see a picture of God’s deep love and how it makes us His children. This isn’t something we achieve by being good; it’s a gift given through a special promise made with God. It corrects the idea that everyone is automatically a child of God, highlighting how special this bond really is. The most important thing for us, as believers, is to strive to know God better, which naturally changes what we value most in life.
