Tim Keller | September 23, 1990
Living in a way that honors the high calling God has given us means celebrating both the unity and variety within the Christian community, while avoiding the negative impact of viewing church like a shopping mall. Gifts from the Holy Spirit, which are different from natural talents, are essential for strengthening the Christian community and should be used with humility, patience, and love to avoid being led astray by false teachings. The common experience of becoming a Christian emphasizes the importance of unity in the church. Using our gifts and talents to do good in the world and help expand God’s kingdom is very important.
