Tim Keller | October 15, 1995
The story of Jesus’ resurrection is very important. Even though He was killed, He came back to life – and many people saw it happen. The passage also encourages us to say sorry to God for our wrongs, reminding us of prophecies that talked about Jesus’ suffering and God’s plan to fix everything that’s broken. It also mentions God’s special promise to our ancestors and how we’re part of that promise because we’re descendants of the prophets. The story ends with the idea that God sent Jesus to bless us and help us turn away from doing wrong things.
