David Bisgrove, Tim Keller | November 17, 2013
Please note: the MP3 Audio version of this sermon is by Timothy Keller, while the MP4 Video version is given by David Bisgrove.
When we discuss how to talk about our faith, a lot of us feel somewhat uneasy. But the people you just happen to be around are there by God’s appointment. You don’t have to force anything. They’re there for you, and you’re there for them.
I’d like to look at one of the great stories of the Bible, which has a breadth of application. It’s the story of Joseph. It is a long story, but this little passage in Genesis 50 is the climax of the story.
We’re going to look at this story under three headings: 1) why Joseph wept, 2) what Joseph said in response, and 3) who Joseph is.
This Month's Featured Book
In The Prodigal God, Tim Keller examines the way Jesus presents the parable to speak both to those who run from God and to those who try to earn his love by being good. It reveals the heart of the gospel—a message of hope for both the rebellious younger brother and the judgmental older brother, and an invitation for all to experience God’s grace.
