The book of John tells us how important it is to believe in Jesus to have everlasting life. It points out that people often fail to show true love for God and instead seek praise from others. John presents Jesus as the real deal – the one who knows it all and tells it all, because He comes from God. John also tells us that the Bible isn’t just a book; it’s a love letter from God, and we need to have a close friendship with Jesus to really understand it. John warns us not to forget the traditional Christian view about the Bible. He cautions us about the dangers of ignoring what the Bible teaches and inspires us to truly live out what we learn from it.
