When you believe in Jesus, he doesn’t just give you some kind of inner peace, but he completely rearranges your life. The kingdom of God is the power of God to re-administer your life, rearrange your life in all sorts of ways.
In our series on Luke, we’ve said Jesus rearranges our lives upside down: he changes the sociological status quo. We’ve said Jesus rearranges our lives inside out: he changes the psychological status quo. Now we’re going to see one more way in which God rearranges your life. He doesn’t just have you live upside down and inside out, but also forward back. What does that mean?
Let’s take a look and see what Jesus teaches us about 1) the power of the kingdom, 2) the practices of the kingdom, and 3) the provision of the kingdom.
