How To Be Filled With the Spirit

Ephesians 5:18–21

When we compare being filled with the Spirit to being drunk, we see that Spirit-filled living helps us understand reality and see truth more clearly. The Holy Spirit plays a crucial role in helping us fully experience God’s truth. This requires us to actively and obediently seek God, rather than just following a set of rules. We should use God’s grace to help us reach this spiritual fullness. Seeking God and living right should be more important to us than just seeking our own happiness. This is what people who have truly experienced God’s presence have found.
