John 13:1–17

Humility, service, and love are key to being a Christian, just like when Jesus washed his disciples’ feet, teaching us that real power lies in helping others. It’s important to understand why we do things, not just what we’re doing. This includes taking responsibility when we mess up. Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross shows us the way to forgiveness and urges us to love others so deeply that we’re willing to kneel in service to them.
