Genesis 9:1–12

When we look at the sixth commandment, “Do not kill,” we are reminded how precious human life is and the serious outcomes of ending a life. The idea that we’re all made in God’s image stresses the need to respect and value everyone, acknowledging their natural worth. The “rule of carefulness” is introduced to help us navigate tricky situations, ending with a focus on saving human life, especially when talking about abortion.
