The ideas of eternal life and God’s judgment highlight our deep desire for fairness and our need to be proven right. It’s vital to trust in Jesus and his teachings, and to accept the idea of a fair judge who promises justice even after death. From a Christian viewpoint, it’s a bit of a puzzle to want fairness without a judge. This view stresses immediate judgment from a fair God, the importance of trust and actions, and the consequences of being distant from God.
