The Shield of Faith (Part 1)

Ephesians 6:14–18

Imagine a Roman soldier’s shield. That’s what our faith is like in spiritual battles—it’s our main defense. As believers, we’re given special gifts like the breastplate of righteousness to help us beat sin. This story shows us that going through tough times can actually change us for the better, but only if we say sorry for our wrongs and want the same things God wants. The big message here is that trusting God, even when life is hard, is incredibly important.
