Tim Keller | January 19, 1992
As Christians, we face a real battle against unseen spiritual forces. We can’t fight these forces on our own; we need divine help. That’s why we’re called to put on the full armor of God. This armor includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, readiness to share the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit. Prayer and staying alert are also important. We need to recognize that our struggle is not just against the world and our own sinful desires, but also against the Devil himself.
This Month's Featured Book
In Shaped by the Gospel, Dr. Keller shows how gospel-centered ministry is more theologically driven than program-driven. As you read, you’ll discover how reflecting on the essence, the truths, and the patterns of the gospel leads to renewal in your lives, churches and ministries.
