Tim Keller | March 12, 1995
This sermon was preached by Timothy J. Keller at Redeemer Presbyterian Church on Mar 12, 1995. Series: 1 John, Part 2 – MP3. Scripture: 1 John 2:18-23
At the heart of being a Christian is not about what we do or think, but about what God does and thinks of us. It’s so important to accept Jesus as the Christ, to know that truth is there whether we see it or not, and to understand that if we’re truly Christian, we’ll show it through our faith, love, and personal growth. Some people see Christianity as something only for a special group, but it’s actually open to everyone, giving hope and forgiveness to all. The acceptance and honor from Jesus Christ are not limited by our past mistakes or where we fit in society.
This Month's Featured Book
In Shaped by the Gospel, Dr. Keller shows how gospel-centered ministry is more theologically driven than program-driven. As you read, you’ll discover how reflecting on the essence, the truths, and the patterns of the gospel leads to renewal in your lives, churches and ministries.
